PBI Design Tools provides a browser-based design tool for creating Power BI background assets. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the service:
- Account information from Auth0, such as your email address and login identifier.
- Subscription and payment status from Stripe, such as customer ID, subscription status, plan, and payment events.
- Basic technical information that Netlify, Auth0, and Stripe process to operate the site, secure accounts, and deliver the service.
Design Content
Images and project files you load into the editor are processed in your browser. The app does not intentionally upload your design images or exported project files to our servers as part of normal editing or exporting.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
- Confirm subscription access and unlock paid features.
- Process payments, renewals, cancellations, and failed payment events.
- Operate, protect, and improve the app.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, and transaction records according to its own privacy policy.
Service Providers
We use trusted providers to operate the service, including:
- Auth0 for authentication.
- Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, and payment-related webhooks.
- Netlify for hosting and serverless functions.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, comply with law, protect the service, or complete transactions you request.
Retention
We retain account and subscription records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records.
Your Choices
You can request account help, cancellation assistance, or deletion of account-related information by contacting us. Some payment and transaction records may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or accounting reasons.
Security
We use reputable third-party providers and server-side subscription checks to protect access. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information used by the app.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
